Musician D4vd Reportedly Identified as Suspect in Death of Youngster Found in Tesla

The performer known as D4vd was identified as a suspect in the tragic passing of Celeste Rivas, a adolescent who went missing and was later discovered deceased inside the artist's Tesla vehicle earlier this year, as per police.

Discovery of the Body

This deteriorated body of Rivas, aged fifteen, was found in this past autumn inside the frunk of a ebony Tesla linked to D4vd, whose actual name is David Anthony Burke. This vehicle had been issued a violation in a Los Angeles neighborhood and afterwards impounded at a tow yard in the city.

Chronology of Incidents

Investigators believe that Rivas likely died in the spring, noting that D4vd had probably been involved in dismantling and discarding the corpse. The artist has refused to cooperate in the probe, per a police source.

This teenager Rivas was first declared missing from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in April 2024. The remains was later found in the musician's Tesla after staff at Hollywood Tow notified a powerful odor originating from the automobile.

Investigation and Formal Statements

The reason for demise has still not been determined, but the forensic office remarked that Rivas “appears to have been no longer alive inside the car for an extended period before being found.” Police are considering her death as a murder.

Details on the Artist

The Texas-based artist had been issued a ticket in the Hollywood Hills just eleven days before Rivas was located in the vehicle, after exceeding the 72-hour parking limit. Neighbors in the neighborhood stated that the Tesla had been parked in the area for several weeks.

Celeste's family member revealed that the family was knowledgeable that Rivas had a connection to the artist and that she was headed to watch a film with him just before she went missing.

D4vd, spoken as “David,” is a NY-native artist known for the hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” He and his manager were staying at a LA residence in the Hollywood area in September, per the home's owner, until police investigated the home.

D4vd has contracted with music companies. The artist was traveling for performances at the period Rivas's corpse were located, but terminated those performances following the finding of Rivas's body.
