On Monday, the court heard phone records and data retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a trip in Portugal - is considered the most covered child disappearance cases and remains unresolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

One phone message, presented in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm overweight and plain like Madeleine used to be, but I know what I feel."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone stated: "Suppose there is a tiny probability that I'm her? What then? Wouldn't that be crucial for you?"

"I don't want money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I just want to discover," the recording stated.

The panel was advised that through electronic messages, SMS messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, sent early photographs to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who gathered the information, advised the court there "didn't appear to be any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also communicated with family friends of the McCanns, based on the call data.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann picked up a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

That day Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone declaring "I will persist and I plan to establish my claim."

The court learned Mrs Spragg developed a relationship via internet with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a appearance to the McCanns' home in that area in that winter.

Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had reached out via WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to say the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she ought to be taken seriously in the months leading up to the visit to that location, the county, in last December.

The court was told correspondence between the two accused, in November 2024, considering attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her trash or from cutlery at a restaurant.

"We must assert ourselves," Mrs Spragg told Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the trip to their residence, the defendant dispatched a communication which said: "We're currently sat near the McCanns' house with our lights out resembling detectives. I desired to do this with someone else I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The case ongoing.
